Integrating Technology in the Classroom

As I'm working on my site that I'll incorporate in class, I feel no shame in keeping it simple. It's by keeping it simple that you really think of the one feature that would really enhance the learning experience. The other part of the story, for me, is: while I like experimenting with a bunch of new features, too much stuff becomes just too much, and I can't digest it all.

  1. I definitely see the positives in keeping it simple and that was my plan with my site... but as I started creating the site (as a student resource for a class that I teach) I kept coming up with more useful items to put on it. I included a class calendar, attachments of required documents, class pics, links to related sites, copies of assignments, and a few other useful things. Also, students don't have to look at ALL of it, but can access what they need, when they are ready.
